KinoK receives personal data, which it then processes, directly from you and on the website www.kinok.eu and the social networks of website users.

Does KinoK share your personal data with others?

  1. a) External service providers

We may transfer your data to our suppliers who provide us with media, marketing, messaging, IT or web hosting services. These entities may only process personal data for the stated purposes and in the manner specified by KinoK and may not disseminate it without further consent. Service providers are only provided with the data they need to provide the services provided to KinoK.

Service providers are vetted by KinoK and provide sufficient guarantees with regard to the confidentiality and protection of your personal data. KinoK enters into written personal data processing agreements with all such providers, in which the providers commit to protect personal data and to comply with KinoK’s personal data security standards.

  1. b) Disclosure of personal data to third parties

KinoK is obliged to share the personal data of visitors to the website with third parties other than the above-mentioned service providers in certain circumstances, in accordance with data protection legislation.

KinoK uses modern IT security systems to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your personal data. KinoK maintains appropriate technical and organizational security measures against unlawful or unauthorized processing of personal data and against accidental loss or damage to personal data.

Access to your personal data is only granted to persons who need it to perform their job duties and are bound by a legal or contractual obligation of confidentiality.

How long will KinoK keep your personal data?

KinoK only retains your personal data for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or as necessary. for the protection of KinoK’s legitimate interests or for the period for which consent to processing has been granted.

If KinoK processes data on the basis of your consent, it will do so for 10 years from the date of consent or until its withdrawal.

The data collected for marketing purposes are processed for the entire duration of the consent, i.e. also for as long as the user allows storage within the cookie settings on the website or in his browser. The processing may continue even after the withdrawal of consent, at the latest until the expiry of the respective cookie type.

What are your rights regarding the processing of personal data?

Under the conditions set out below, you may exercise all the rights granted to you under data protection legislation, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR):

  • the right to clear, transparent and comprehensible information about how your personal data is used and what your rights are;

  • the right of access to personal data and the provision of other information related to their processing by KinoK, or. processors;
  • the right to rectification of incorrect and incomplete personal data;
  • the right to erasure of personal data, in particular if (i) are no longer required for further processing; (ii) consent to their processing has been withdrawn; (iii) the data subject has legitimately objected to the processing; (iv) have been processed unlawfully; or (v) must be deleted in accordance with the legislation;
  • the right to restrict the processing of personal data if (i) the data subject has contested the accuracy of the personal data until KinoK has verified its accuracy; (ii) the processing is unlawful; (iii) KinoK no longer needs the personal data but the data subject needs the personal data for the purposes of exercising his or her legal claims; or (iv) the data subject objects to the processing until KinoK has verified that the legitimate interests of KinoK outweigh the interests of the data subject;
  • the right to object to the processing of personal data if it is processed for the purposes of KinoK’s legitimate interests. If you object to further processing for direct marketing purposes, your personal data will not be further processed for these purposes;
  • the right to obtain your personal data and to transfer it to another controller, subject to compliance with the legal conditions;
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.cz, if you believe that KinoK is in breach of its obligations under data protection legislation.

We will respond to your request to exercise your rights within the statutory time limit, usually no later than 1 month after receiving the request. Should our response take longer in exceptional cases, we will inform you.
