From what sources does KinoK obtain your personal data?

KinoK obtains the personal data it subsequently processes directly from you, as well as from the website www.kinok.eu and the social networks of website users.

Does KinoK share your personal data with other persons?

a) External service providers

We may transfer your data to our suppliers who provide us with services in the areas of media services, marketing, messaging, IT, or web hosting. These entities may only process personal data for the specified purposes and in the manner determined by KinoK and may not further distribute it without additional consent. Only the data that service providers absolutely need to ensure the services provided for KinoK is transferred to them.
Service providers are vetted by KinoK and provide sufficient guarantees regarding the confidentiality and protection of your personal data. KinoK concludes written data processing agreements with all these providers, in which the providers commit to protecting personal data and adhering to KinoK’s standards for personal data security.

Under certain circumstances, KinoK is obliged to share personal data of website visitors with third parties other than the service providers mentioned above, in accordance with personal data protection laws.

How is your personal data secured?

To ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal data, KinoK uses modern IT security systems. KinoK maintains appropriate security, technical, and organizational measures against the unlawful or unauthorized processing of personal data and against accidental loss or damage to personal data.
Access to your personal data is granted only to persons who need it to perform their work duties and are bound by a legal or contractual duty of confidentiality.

How long will KinoK store your personal data?

KinoK stores your personal data only for the period it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or for the protection of KinoK’s legitimate interests, or for the period for which consent for processing was given.
If KinoK processes data based on your consent, it will do so for a period of 10 years from the granting of the consent or until it is withdrawn.
Data obtained for marketing purposes is processed for the entire duration of the consent, i.e., also for the period when the user allows storage within the cookie settings on the website or in their browser. Processing may continue even after the withdrawal of consent, for a period not exceeding the expiration of the relevant type of cookie.

  • the right of access to personal data and the provision of other information related to its processing by KinoK, or its processors;
  • the right to rectification of incorrect and incomplete personal data;
  • the right to erasure of personal data, especially if (i) it is no longer necessary for further processing; (ii) consent for its processing has been withdrawn; (iii) the data subject has legitimately objected to its processing; (iv) it has been processed unlawfully; or (v) it must be erased according to legal regulations;
  • the right to restriction of processing of personal data if (i) the data subject contests the accuracy of the personal data for a period enabling KinoK to verify its accuracy; (ii) the processing is unlawful; (iii) KinoK no longer needs it, but the data subject requires the personal data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; or (iv) the data subject has objected to its processing pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of KinoK override those of the data subject;
  • the right to object to the processing of personal data if it is being processed for the purposes of KinoK’s legitimate interests. In the case of an objection to further processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data will no longer be processed for these purposes;
  • the right to obtain your personal data and transfer it to another controller, subject to legal conditions;
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, with its registered office at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.cz, if you believe that KinoK is violating its obligations arising from personal data protection laws.

We will respond to your requests to exercise your rights within the statutory period, usually no later than 1 month from the receipt of the request. If our response requires a longer time in exceptional cases, we will inform you.
